I would like to make the slider appear on my home page. I’ve enabled it by ‘tag’ in the customizer under Theme Options, and created the ‘tag’ but I cannot make the slider itself appear on my site. So you know, I changed my landing page from a ‘url custom link’ to a ‘page’, then set it as a static page. Ideally, I would have my ‘home page’ with the slider across the top showcasing recent blog posts (that I will somehow manipulate to workout :/). There’s is not much documentation on the slider itself.
I bought this theme over a year ago and have been very happy with it but have been considering adding a slider. The demo shows a functional slider but I cannot figure out how to get it to display or function. Please advise.
Which I do not have an under-construction plug-in associated with yet.
The posts in the category I assigned to the slider do have featured images but I am not familiar with how to properly use tags as a means to activate the slider functionality. It may be in part because I’m not sure how to construct the homepage with the correct template Style in order to incorporate the slider. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
I actively use this theme at two other websites and I’m very happy with how it works… I didn’t even realize it had slider functionality until I started using it in this current project and went back to your demo on themeforest and saw that it was using a slider. I would really like to use that functionality if possible for this new project. Thank you very much and thank you for all you do.
Well… While I was awaiting a response I took a shot in the dark and added a tag to a group of posts and changed the slider options in the customize panel and voila! So… Nevermind 🙂 I would however suggest some clarity in the documentation on your next release. It doesn’t appear to like selecting by category for whatever reason (including likely operator error) but works swimmingly When selecting by tag. Thanks again
